High Arnside - March 2006 & July 2007 High Arnside Cottage (Sleeps 6) is an 18th Century stone built barn attached to the farmhouse that was converted into living accommodation 30 years ago and has oil fired central heating. Outside to the rear of the Cottage, a doorway leads out to open fellside where there are spectacular views of the mountains. Garden furniture and a barbeque are provided and there is plenty of space for children to play. Nearby are a collection of rope swings and a slide.
Lounge/Dining Room The lounge is a large spacious room with a dining area at one end with panoramic views of the surrounding fells and mountains. Features include a woodburning stove set in a stone fireplace and beams. Colour T.V. with Sky & DVD player. Kitchen - Upgraded during Spring 2005, facilities include oven, hob, fridge with ice box, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Dining table. A stable door opens out into the farmyard.
Upstairs Bathroom with toilet, basin and bath (shower over). Twin Room with storage heater. Double Room with bunk bedroom adjoining. The Cottage is heated by an oil fired boiler which provides all the hot water and heating (except in the twin room). All fuel for the woodburner and oil for boiler, are included in the weekly rates. High chair and travel cot also available at no extra cost.
