Nestled deep in the Lake District, High Arnside Farm is a special place for many people. For years, guests have been coming to stay to enjoy the breathtaking views and to enjoy the peace and tranquility.
Every year we welcome back many guests. Last year (2010) was no exception with 72% of our bookings coming from repeat business - thank you!
The views from where the main farmhouse sits are quite stunning, but a short climb up to the highest point on the farm, Black Crag, reveals an amazing panorama of Windermere, Coniston Water, Esthwaite Water and Tarn Hows.
The farm is perfectly situated for walking and biking from the door. High Arnside Farm is a traditional hill farm owned by the National Trust. We have been tenants here since 1996 and feel very honoured to be living in one of the most beautiful places in England.
We enjoy welcoming guests to our farm and pride ourselves in making sure things are just right. Both our cottages are cosy and appeal both to couples wishing to escape and to families who want to give their children the freedom of being on a farm.
Whatever the reason, High Arnside is a perfect place to stay in the Lake District.
